How to Create something Great from Old Wood Timbers

Have you ever seen stacks of timber lying around in peoples yard.  It is just left there with the weeds growing between it.

Then why not ask them if you can have it, that is if you are the handy type of person.  Quite often these old  timbers are hiding a beautiful grain behind all that rough exterior.  Yes once plained over removing the split edges you could find timber that you can create something to be proud of.
